This is a quaint and romantic place. The owner BJ is a wonderful host. Very personal and captivating story teller. A must stay if you come to hocking hills. And Sharon makes a great breakfast.
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. BJ made us feel quite at home and we loved hearing his stories. Sharon was a delight, and certainly made delicious and filling breakfast each morning. We enjoyed the house, learning of it's history, and having the view of the lake. We will certainly come back another time.
Highly recommend! Beautiful property, nice and quiet, surrounded by nature. We were lucky and had the whole property to ourselves. No other reservations while we stayed. Not being surrounded by vast numbers of other was well worth the stay! BJ the host was super friendly and had lots of stories about the property. Him and his assistant made us a great breakfast every morning. Furnishings in propert are beautiful. Would stay again any day over some busy resort or hotel with over crowded noisy people!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Quiet and peaceful right next to the Lake Logan. Sharon made delicious breakfasts each morning. BJ had such amazing stories and was very knowledgeable about the the area. We stayed in the Queen Mary suite with private bathroom which was all very clean and comfortable, and even had it's own little balcony. The common rooms were really neat with lots of history. Perfect location close to all the best hiking trails but still isolated enough to really rest and relax afterwards. I will say it could use a little TLC maintenance, and the lake needs dredged badly. But nothing in my mind that doesn't make this still a great place to stay. Highly recommend!
